It is a medieval temple, one of the oldest of the city. The Baroque façade was built by the architect of the Cathedral, Eufrasio Lopez de Rojas. The interior of the building has a Mudejar coffered ceiling and a magnificent altarpiece of the 16^thCentury by Sebastian Solís. In this altarpiece, the "Cristo de la Expiración" is venerated, which is a sculpture of the 18^th Century by Jose de Medina.
